Acknowledge God as the Creator and Governor over His creation (Genesis 1:1).
Affirm that Jesus Christ is the “Ruler over the kings of the earth” (Revelation 1:5).
Obediently pursue Jesus’ command to be “salt and light” to the culture (Matthew 5:13-16).
Bring Biblical solutions and answers to contemporary problems (Deuteronomy 4:30-31).
Nurture informed Christian thinking about contemporary social issues (I Peter 3:15).
Preach and teach boldly about moral issues from the pulpit.
Promote Christian involvement in public policy.
Urge our congregations and communities to get involved in the political process on a non-partisan basis.
Encourage and equip competent Christian men and women within our churches and communities to run for public office and lead our communities, state, and nation (Proverbs 29:2).
Support our elected officials through prayer and practical acts of kindness and service.
Speak with one voice as to the maintaining and recovering of the Judeo–Christian world view which this nation was founded upon.
Develop a network of contacts throughout the state that enable the Alliance to impact and engage communities with the gospel as well as provide practical solutions that transform our culture and the lives of the citizens of South Carolina. The Alliance network will also serve to help with in times of natural disaster, cultural crisis, or terrorist threat; the state’s Christian leaders can mobilize themselves, their churches, and their communities in rapid response.
